DDE (Dynamic Data Encryption) / Key Dynamic Detection technologies by WELLAND

To eliminate the need to remember long and complicated passwords, the Pro-Secure is supplied with two Secure Keys, which build in 64-bit DDE (Dynamic Data Encryption) required to access the drive and its contents - all the data must go through the encryption before they get placed on the drive. Without the use of the correct Secure Key both the Pro-Secure hard drive and its data are invisible to the operating system, even if the hard drive is removed from the Pro-Secure enclosure and installed in another PC or enclosure, ensuring that only the authorized user can view the sensitive data. Simply insert one of the two Secure Keys supplied with the unit into the port on the Pro-Secure, and connect the USB cable to your computers USB port for immediate access to your data. Pro-secure Enclosure also supports “ Key Dynamic Detection ” technology, which can't be supplanted by any other similar product, providing the real-time monitor on key status. Immediately rejecting any access during removal of the key and allowing any access after key re-presenting.
