The computer is capable of reading and writing to the external drive at its maximum speed, but it is also backward compatible with USB2.0 host controller of your computer. (Using USB3.0 host controller is recommended.)

Note : If you have problem to connect this enclosure to the NEC USB3.0 host , maybe it's caused by the compatibility issue with newer NEC USB3.0 host driver, please go to Welland Support page to update the Firmware of the enclosure.
